For anyone who's not familiar the chip shop awards are alternative advertising awrds where there's no clients involved just great creative ideas for whatever client you like in whatever medium u like, and the whole world can enter now, previously it was just the UK. I actually went to the first few when they were a very low profile awards ceremony in Scoltand.

The talent now is amazing some fantastic ads and ambient peices, it lets people express their creativity in a way that they never could in the real world. Nominations are just out today for the 2010 awards, my ambient idea unfutunately didnt make it :-(

Anyway be interesting to see everyones take on them, be careful if your easily offended some of the ads are bit close to the bone!
